The construction method on these is aStitchdown construction versus White's traditional handsewn welt. You will notice the welt being much more flat and cleaner than a handsewn welt - This boot isnotcustomizable.

The leather comes from Maryam in Tuscany, Italy - it's a vegetable tanned horse rump that is 5.5-6oz in thickness. The leather is dyed through and is like fine wine ... only gets better with age!
